What is it About Refresh Technologies That Keeps Clients Satisfied?
Meet the Refresh Team
Fae Parker, CEO
Prior to being appointed to the role, Fae amassed 25 years of communications and information technology industry experience in the areas of corporate strategy, finance operations, business development and executive management. She received her BS degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She began her consulting career with Geddings & Phillips Communications, as a consultant for political campaigns and corporate strategic communications. Fae serves on the Blumenthal Performing Arts Board on the Marketing Committee and on the board of Charlotte Regional Partnership. A leadership facilitator trained by the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), she also facilitates an annual four-day Leadership Seminar for Tomorrow’s Leaders designed for rising high school juniors and seniors.
Bob Shaffer, COO & President Enterprise Solutions
In addition to his leadership role at Refresh, Bob strives to be a leader in his community. He pioneered our RefreshCares program, which provides supplies and assistance resources directly to the homeless in our community. He also provides computer training to help folks on their journey home and into the workforce. Bob loves music and traveling and spending quality time with his wife and two teenage children.
Scott Carroll, Customer Relationship Manager
Scott has come to realize that “service” is his greatest product as a professional and in his personal life. He supports waste reduction initiatives in our community and assists with the “Refresh Green” Project: our commitment to helping the homeless community in our area and to promoting choices that lead to a healthy, mobile and equitable community both now and for future generations.
Prior to joining Refresh, Scott’s 25-year career includes his role as Operations Manager for CenturyLink of South Florida. He managed enterprise sales for AT&T for many years, and was the Controller for a large Resort & Marina in Palm Beach, FL. A South Carolina native, he obtained his undergraduate in business from Winthrop University and MBA from The University of South Carolina.
Carolyn Beoris, VP, Finance
Carolyn is playing a leading role in guiding the change management process as we acquire and integrate new operations within Refresh. She does the detailed legwork required to analyze and assess the financials, and then recommends the best way to structure the acquisition. As we’ve grown, she has been largely responsible for implementing processes and systems created to ensure consistency across the divisions, and to drive accountability and performance. Always eager to share her knowledge, Carolyn is the person our departments turn to for advice and strategies on improving their own internal processes: from basic accounting best practice to understanding complicated workflow rules. She served as an Account Executive for Sunnyvale, CA based environmental firm, Advanced Chemical Transport, prior to joining Refresh on our operations team in 2014. Carolyn assumed her current position in 2019. In addition to her financial certifications, Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego.
